2017 Ford Fusion in El Paso: Innovation and Luxury Combined

The 2017 Fusion is definitely one of the most stylish and fuel-efficient cars produced by Ford this year. It comes in two models: the Fusion Hybrid and the Fusion Hybrid Energi. Unlike any other sedan today, Ford claims that the Fusion will be able to recharge overnight in just 2.5 hours and will able to run for 10 miles on electric power with its Energi model. But, that’s not all. This model of the Fusion is also equipped with a lot of safety and security features to make sure your drive is smooth and hassle-free.

Safety Features

First off, the 2017 Ford Fusion comes with Enhanced Parking Assist. Unlike the previous version of its Parking Assist feature, this feature now has perpendicular and parallel parking assistance. The ultrasonic sensors alert you when the car is about to collide with an object or another car. You get to easily park in tight spaces without having to stress out about possibly scratching your car. Secondly, the Stop & Start technology shuts down the engine when idle and restarts when you hit the accelerator. This way, you save on energy and fuel when it is not in use.

Engine Options

Unlike the previous model, this time, Ford has included a lithium-ion battery in the Energi model, its plug-in hybrid version. Once the battery dies off, the car quickly shifts to the 2.0 liter EcoBoost 4-Cylinder engine. Since it is an EcoBoost engine, you can expect the fuel economy to be great.

This is just a glimpse of what the innovation the Fusion offers. Visit one of the Ford dealers in El Paso today and test the 2017 Ford Fusion for yourself.
